Training

New York City Department of Environmental Protection

As a facilitator for Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively, I led a half-day training to teach NYCDEP staff techniques to engage landowners in conservation practices to protect the drinking water of NYC.


Evaluation

University of North CArolina Extension

Collaborating with the Center for Nonprofit Strategies, I helped UNC and their partners develop a new evaluation template that allows them to better assess their “Learn and Burn” training program.


Facilitation

Great Lakes Phragmites Collaborative

As staff for the Great Lakes Commission, I led the GLPC Advisory Committee to develop best practices for Phragmites management and accompanying case studies to bring those practices to life.


Grants

Yale school of forestry & environmental studies

Through the Sustaining Family Forests Initiative, I served as PI on grants totaling over $1.1 million, including one focused on supporting natural resource professionals to engage more women landowners in forestry programs and activities.

Strategic Planning

Great Plains Initiative

In collaboration with the Center for Nonprofit Strategies, I supported the development of a coordinated engagement strategy for a four-state effort funded by the Federal Landscape Scale Conservation Partnership program. The project focused on engaging farmers to install wind-breaks.
